The Azadirachata Indica or NEEM tree is truly a hardy tree that has many characteristics that bugs do not like. Neem is a medium sized to large tree characterized by its short, straight bole, furrowed, dark brown to grey bark, and dense rounded crown of pinnate leaves. Neem comprises of 40 different active compounds called Tetranortriperpernoids, or more specifically liminoids. These liminoids create hormonal disruptions and prevents the insect from Feeding, Breeding or Metamorphosing.

It can be used as a root drench, where after only 8 hours from application the beneficial fungi will have fully colonised the root system, aiding disease protection. Once the plant is colonised at the cellular level, there is “no room at the inn” for pythium etc to attack the cells and cause infection. Funganic+ is a foliar spray, which is really effective against Budrot. It has a extra ingredient that helps to knock out any infection the plant may already have, and inoculate against future attacks.
